The life of a 20-something third grade teacher trying to make sense of it all

Thank you!
Thank you to my friends who remind me that, though I'm a teacher, that's not all I am. I appreciate knowing that I am a friend, a sister, a daughter, and a teacher. My job is incredibly important to me, but it's not my entire identity.
I teach small children. I read children's literature. I play children's games and have been accused of having a very simple and childlike sense of humor. Basically, I'm a very tall child in an aging body, with a larger vocabulary.

I don't think you are alone in forgetting this important fact that we are not defined only my our profession. Thanks for reminding me.
